The WiFi@OSU wireless network is provided by the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) for the following community members and purposes:
- Students, Faculty, and Staff can use WiFi@OSU to automatically configure Android, Apple iOS, ChromeOS, Kindle Fire, Linux, Mac, and Windows devices for secure network access on osuwireless. Additionally, this wireless network allows for students, faculty, and staff to manage their OSU Internet Username and password at my.osu.edu as well as get help or view knowledge base articles at OCIO's Self-Service page.
- Guests can use WiFi@OSU for basic Internet access after accepting the university acceptable use policy.
Guests and visitors to the university are encouraged to use WiFi@OSU, however students, faculty, and staff should use the osuwireless network as the primary means for wireless connectivity, as many university resources that require authentication (e.g., Carmen, BuckeyeLink, etc) will not be permitted when using WiFi@OSU.
