Clearing web browser data

How to clear temporary data stored in web browsers' cache

If you are unsure of which browser you use, go to http://thismachine.info for basic information about your computer.

If your browser is not listed here, your version is not listed here, or the instructions do not match what you are seeing for some reason, please refer to the manual for your browser. This can typically be accessed by pressing the F1 key. Once open, search for instructions on "clearing cache" or "clearing cookies". Both functions will need to be performed. Alternatively, running a Google search for your browser's name ( for example Firefox ) and "clear cookies and cache" ( for example Firefox clear cookies and cache ) may yield instructions as well should you have issues with your browser's manual. In Chrome, Firefox, and Internet Explorer on a Windows computer, the menu to clear cache can be found using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Shift+Delete.
